Welcome to The Chief Suite Ambassador Program. These terms ("Ambassador Terms") govern your participation as an ambassador. By applying to or participating in the program, you agree to these terms in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
For the public-facing program overview, including commission structure and how it works, visit our Ambassador Program page.
Eligibility and approval
- Approval required. Submitting an application doesn't guarantee acceptance. We approve ambassadors based on alignment with the brand, professional reputation, and fit. We reserve the right to decline applications without explanation.
- Account required. Approved ambassadors will receive a unique referral code by email. You're responsible for keeping your contact information current so we can communicate with you about referrals and payouts.
- Tax responsibility. Commissions paid to you are taxable income. You're solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed on commissions you earn. If your annual commissions from us reach reporting thresholds (currently $600 USD per calendar year in the U.S.), we may request a Form W-9 and issue a Form 1099-NEC as required by law.
Referral attribution
- One attribution per referral. Only one ambassador can be credited per client. The first ambassador to introduce a new client is credited. Referrals must use the ambassador's unique code at checkout, or the client must clearly identify the ambassador during their initial intake, for attribution to apply.
- Existing prospects don't count. If a client has already engaged with The Chief Suite (booked a Coffee Chat, requested a proposal, applied for the Ambassador Program, or completed a purchase), referrals of that person will not earn a commission, regardless of who introduced them.
- No self-referrals. Ambassadors cannot refer themselves, co-own the referred business, or use their code on their own purchases. Violating this voids all commissions and terminates ambassador status.
Commission structure
Commissions for tier purchases are:
- Starter ($1,200) — $50 commission
- Launch ($2,500) — $100 commission
- Full Suite ($4,500) — $200 commission
Commissions for Custom Builds (services priced individually):
- Bracket A — Foundation — Custom builds $600–$1,500 → $50 commission
- Bracket B — Mid-Range — Custom builds $1,501–$2,500 → $100 commission
- Bracket C — Premium — Custom builds $2,501+ → $200 commission
Custom builds under $600 are not eligible for ambassador commissions. Coffee Chats and à la carte tools are not eligible for ambassador commissions. The Chief Suite reserves the right to update commission amounts; updates apply to referrals made after the change is published.
Commission timing and payout
- Commission release timing. Once your referral signs a contract and their second invoice clears (or their first invoice if they pay in full), your commission is released within 7 business days.
- Pay-in-Full referrals. Released after the single payment clears.
- Payment plan referrals. Released after the second installment clears, even if the full plan continues afterward.
- Failed payments and chargebacks. If a referred client's payment fails, is reversed, charged back, or refunded after your commission has been released, we may deduct the corresponding amount from your future commissions or, in rare cases, request return of the funds.
Payout methods
- Payouts via Zelle, Stripe, or store credit. We'll collect your preferred payout method when you're approved. Cash commissions are paid in USD. Store credit can be applied toward any service or à la carte build with The Chief Suite — perfect for ambassadors who plan to engage us for their own work.
- Store credit specifics. Store credit does not expire. It cannot be combined with the 10% referral discount on the same purchase. Store credit is non-transferable and has no cash value.
- Failed payout attempts. If we're unable to deliver your commission via your chosen method (e.g., outdated Zelle info), we'll hold the funds for up to 90 days while attempting to reach you. After 90 days, we may convert the unclaimed commission to store credit.
Promotion and conduct
- Honest promotion only. You may share The Chief Suite with your network through any honest, ethical means — your own social posts, conversations, newsletters, or business introductions. You may not misrepresent who we are, what we offer, or what your relationship is with us.
- FTC disclosure. If you're promoting us in a way that might be considered an endorsement (especially on social media or in published content), you must disclose your ambassador relationship clearly, per FTC guidelines. Phrases like "I'm an ambassador for The Chief Suite" or simple disclosure tags work.
- No spam. You may not promote The Chief Suite via unsolicited mass email, comment spam, paid search ads bidding on our brand terms, or any deceptive practice. Violations terminate your ambassador status and may void pending commissions.
- Brand assets. If you'd like to use our logo or brand assets in your promotional content, contact us first for approval.
Limits and ineligibility
- No cap on referrals. There's no maximum. Refer as many founders as you like — every qualified referral earns a commission per the structure above.
- All sales are final. The Chief Suite does not issue refunds. Your commission is safe — once the qualifying invoice clears, the commission is yours.
- Termination. We may terminate your participation in the Ambassador Program at any time for violation of these terms, conduct that damages our brand or business, or any other reason at our discretion. Termination forfeits any commissions on referrals that have not yet met the qualifying invoice threshold.
- Voluntary withdrawal. You may leave the program at any time by emailing us. Commissions on already-qualified referrals will still be paid.
Modifications
We may update these Ambassador Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects any changes. Material changes will be communicated to active ambassadors via email. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law and disputes
These Ambassador Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota. If you have a concern about a commission or your participation, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly through direct conversation.

The short version: Send founders our way authentically and you'll earn $50–$200 per qualified referral, depending on what they book. Your commission releases when their second invoice clears (or first invoice if they pay in full). Choose how you'd like to receive it — Zelle, Stripe, or store credit toward your own work with us. Be honest in how you talk about us, disclose the relationship when it matters, and don't refer yourself. Commissions are taxable income, so plan accordingly.
